About White Pine Family Dentistry

Skilled and Compassionate Dental Care

White Pine Family Dentistry is dedicated to building a long-term relationship with team members and patients that is founded on integrity, mutual respect, and high-quality dental care. Delivering skilled and compassionate dental care for you and your family is our top priority.

Dr. Stephen Lee and Dr. Peter Smith have recently retired. In early 2021, Dr. Daniel Valicevic and Dr. Parminder Dulay were hand picked as their replacements because they share the same emphasis on treating their patients as family, and providing quality dental care. Having served the Hamilton community for close to 30 years, they felt it important to ensure your dental treatment is in capable hands for the coming decades.

To our new and returning patients alike, we are so happy to welcome you to White Pine Family Dentistry, and we look forward to caring for you in the years to come.

Parminder Dulay DDS - White Pine Family Dentistry

Dr. Parminder Dulay

Dr. Parminder Dulay was born and raised in Brampton, Ontario. She attended McGill University for her Bachelor’s Degree before moving to Ann Arbor, MI to attend the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where she first met her husband, Dr. Valicevic. Dr. Dulay’s commitment to continuing education led her to a residency program in Denver, Colorado, as well as completing her fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.

After spending 6 years practicing in Colorado, Dr. Dulay finally convinced her husband to move back to Canada. She is so happy to be back, and is excited to get involved with and serve the Hamilton community. In her spare time, Dr. Dulay enjoys spending time with her family, finding new recipes to try out, and is teaching herself the piano. Just ask Dr. V which skill she is better at!

Dan Valicevic DDS - White Pine Family Dentistry

Dr. Daniel Valicevic

Dr. Daniel Valicevic, or “Dr. V”, was born and raised in the metro Detroit area of Michigan. He stayed in state for his bachelor’s and dental degree, first meeting his wife, Dr. Dulay, at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. After a pit stop in Chicago for his residency program, Dr. V followed his wife to the beautiful state of Colorado to practice dentistry and enjoy the outdoors.

Dr. V is thrilled to be in the Hamilton community, and can happily confirm that the stereotype is true – Canadians are nicer! Outside of dentistry, he loves spending time with his family, and is a huge basketball fan. Dr. V’s mom said he could play for the Detroit Pistons when he was younger, and while he perhaps took that a bit too seriously, he is happy to just play rec league and pickup for now.
